• SMTP: Used for processing contact form submissions securely.
• Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity: Used for website analytics and user behavioural tracking.
• Automated AI Triage: Used for the "Is your site worth fixing?" tool. Site data and user complaints are processed by Google Gemini (AI) to generate assessments. No data is stored permanently by the AI service during this triage.
• BotID & Honeypot: Used for spam protection.

6. Retention and international transfers

Contact enquiries are kept only for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship, and maintain business records. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in the relevant analytics platforms. Some suppliers may process data outside the UK; where they do, I rely on their published transfer safeguards and data processing terms.
